Cir#26/54: Call for Information on Mercury Supply Sources and Trade under the Minamata Convention – Submission Deadline 30 October 2026.

The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), in its capacity as the Pacific Regional Centre for the Basel Convention and regional support agency for chemicals and waste management, wishes to draw your attention to a request from the Secretariat of the Minamata Convention on Mercury for information relating to mercury supply sources and trade. This request follows decisions adopted by the Conference of the Parties to support the implementation and effectiveness evaluation of the Convention.
