Further to Circular 25/66, please be reminded that the Environment Minister’s Meeting and High-Level Talanoa that was to be held on Friday the 5th of September at the Sheraton Aggie Grey’s hotel & Bungalows in Apia, Samoa is now cancelled. We wish to reiterate that this decision was not taken lightly and was made on the request and in consultation with the Government of Samoa who have their national elections on 29 August 2025.
The 32nd SPREP Meeting and Associated meetings will proceed in person with the following revised schedule:
1. Second SPREP Partnership Dialogue – Monday, 1 September 2025
2. 32SM meeting of Officials – Tuesday-Thursday, 2-4 September 2025
3. Noumea and Waigani Conventions – 5 September 2025
