How to Participate in the Conference
Registration and Accreditation
- The SIDS 2014 Conference is a United Nations conference. Depending on your designation, you must be accredited in order to participate in the Conference. Full details on participation at the UN SIDS conference can be found by clicking here.

There are three ways to become accredited:
National delegations (member states) [please contact your Ministry of Foreign Affairs]
UN and Intergovernmental organisations – the Pacific regional IGOs eligible to participate are SPREP and PIFS. The full list of UN and IGOs accredited to participate in the conference is available here.
Major groups (civil society and non-state actors) – major groups must first be accredited in order to participate as observers at the Conference. Note that accreditation is now closed.
Pre-registration
If you are already accredited, you need to [pre-register] by 1 August 2014. Note that you will need your login details to register.
